A woman herself can be a good peace advocator, informant, negotiator and mediator in the society.

Women, as messengers of peace, can be good mediators and negotiators among the negotiating parties at the national and international levels,
An important role of the High Peace Council in providing women's continuous political relationship with other women to promote peace, and
Women, as peace ambassadors, can play an important role in gathering other women in rural areas.
II. The kind of support that we need in this regard:
Local organizations and the High Peace Council can be good supporters in increasing the recruitment of women as members of peace councils; as provincial governors; and district governors,
The support of media, mosques, Religious Scholars’ Council, civil society and private organizations to raise awareness about important role of women and youth in peace process, and
The support of international organizations in the implementation of those resolutions passed on the issues of women’s participation in the peace process.
III. Mechanisms and actions to be taken:
Establishing a system of monitoring and evaluating the activities and achievements of women in the High Peace Council and ensuring the availability of an effective reporting and registration system,
Selecting women as peace ambassadors by the HPC to gather and unite women from the rural areas,
Facilitating and organizing exchange programs, with the help of peace ambassadors, for women to exchange ideas, experiences and cultures at the level of provinces and countries who have experienced peace.
IV. Specific Recommendations of the Youth Group:
Revising the Youth Parliament work mechanism; electing new members; and election of the Deputy of Youth Affairs by the Youth Parliament,
Establishing Youth Advisory and Monitoring Board within HPC and Human Rights Commission in the capital and provinces, and
Facilitating opportunities to exchange ideas among youth from Afghanistan and other countries.
A. Individual level
In order to strengthen the peace process, women can raise their awareness and knowledge,
Women can work together with their families and relatives to strengthen and improve the peace process,
Recognizing the challenges in the way of social peace and sharing it with respective authorities, and.
Cooperating with security organizations, such as, informing through 119.
B. In group
Active participation of women in local organizations and councils to strengthen the peace process,
Women activists’ role in conflict resolution within the family and society,
Defending women’s fundamental rights and advocacy,
Participation of women in development; economic; and social affairs at the local level, and
Group monitoring of the implementation of the enforced laws of the country, especially, the Law on the Elimination of Violence against Women.
II. Women need the following supports:
Government organizations’ support in defending women’s rights,
Religious scholars’ and local influential leaders’ support,
Financial and moral support for the sustainability of women empowerment programs,
Supporting women activists in the decision-making positions at the local level.
Supporting women’s cases in justice and litigations systems, particularly through women attorneys, and
Publishing and broadcasting women’s achievements in the area of consolidating peace via media.
III. Actions and mechanisms required:
Establishing local and provincial committees for activists,
Coherence of activities of organizations working for women’s fundamental rights,
Legalizing the role of women activists in local and provincial decision making organizations,
Obligating the role of women in development affairs and peace building initiatives,
Establishing skill development centers,
Working to attract local scholars and influential leaders’ cooperation in order to strengthen women’s role in the peace process, and
Establishing associations at the provincial level with a specific address in order organize and manage their affairs.
A woman can be a good example of peacemaking in the family, work environment and community,
Women can have an active and constructive role as a mediator in any conflict resolution at the village level, and at national and international levels,
Promoting and spreading peaceful beliefs and norms in schools and social organizations,
Women can prevent other women and their family members from joining the militant groups and engaging in war, and can play an active and open role in this regard,
Educated and bright women can play their role as peacekeepers and advisers by raising their capacity and awareness about this important topic, and
Experienced women can play an active role in important national and international peace negotiations.
